Today, the oil and gas industry is in such a precarious state that without qualitative impact it could go into decline. It is obvious that these high-quality impacts are needed now! Measures must be taken both at the level of fundamental science and at the scientific, practical and technological levels of industry development.

There are many specific examples of domestic developments in each of the designated areas at each of the designated levels, but for many years priority was given to imported technologies, and this dependence is still significant. Many specialized universities, service organizations and research institutes at oil and gas companies have accumulated serious theoretical and practical potential, which, unfortunately, is used very poorly. The lack of interaction between companies often leads to the fact that developments in the same area are duplicated in different organizations, and the exchange of knowledge, experience and technology between them is difficult or impossible due to commercial, organizational and other reasons.

I think it’s time for all of us to dust off our desk drawers, openly demonstrate our achievements to each other and share fresh ideas in order to ensure through joint efforts the stable development of the industry for years to come.

I sincerely believe that ROEK will become one of the central industry conferences, where an open dialogue between industry experts will lead to high-quality practical results in the very near future!

A very important aspect of industry activity for me is the exchange of experience between professionals. Within the framework of ROEK, you can always find answers to questions about where your colleagues and competitors are heading, what they have achieved over the past year, what technologies they were able to apply and what difficulties they encountered.

In such difficult times, I consider it important to preserve tradition and continue the joint development of oil and gas assets, to continue to involve young professionals in the flow of extraordinary tasks to strengthen the competitive advantages and efficiency of our industry. Any problems are, first of all, opportunities. And today it is difficult to imagine a better platform for revealing these opportunities than ROEK.

For me, participation in ROEK is an opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues in conditions where information is of super critical importance, when the development of technology should obviously move from the drivers of service companies to mining companies, their research centers or regional Russian service companies.

Interaction with the leaders of such companies face to face will allow you to get ideas, directions for the development and development of new directions and tasks that are not available due to current restrictions. Speakers who are currently ready to speak on their topics allow us to gain unique experience in new critical conditions, when the loss of time to work with complex reserves and innovative technologies is significant and will impact the market for decades to come. After all, if you don’t develop technologies now, then the greatest failure in them will be noticeable in 3-5 years. I will be glad to see everyone both in person and online.
